Queen Rania Supports Tourism in Jordan
She cooked & sewed traditional scarves!

Queen Rania of Jordan and her daughter, Princess Iman, spent sewing traditional scarves (shemagh) and preparing types of food known in Jordanian culture with local women in the town of Umm Qais in the city of Irbid.
The queen and her daughter visited a tourist site called Beit Al Baraka, where local women show visitors how to sew the shemagh, which is a traditional Jordanian scarf, in addition to preparing cakes.
Queen Rania stepped in a polka dot fuchsia OFF-White blouse paired with a white pants and a pair of white sneakers. She looked as fresh and as casual as anyone has ever seen with such a bright color.



The Jordanian Queen shared some photos on Instagram with her daughter Princess Iman while enjoying the Jordanian traditions, with the caption: “Loved spending time with both Iman and the wonderful people at Beit Al Baraka and Beit Al Ward in Um Qais today. I cannot recommend them enough!”
The royal family hopes to promote sustainable domestic tourism, a sector that has been severely affected by lockdown restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
